Enjoy an invigorating evening as Ryan Bancroft conducts a dazzling programme of contrasting works.
Four Royal College of Music soloists take to the stage for Mozart’s sparkling Sinfonia Concertante for Four Winds, before the ·¬ÇÑÖ±²¥app Symphony Orchestra dives into the dramatic ‘Inextinguishable’ Symphony by Danish composer Carl Nielsen – featuring a thrilling ‘battle’ between two sets of timpani. The symphony conjures up an irrepressible life force: an ‘inextinguishable’ spirit.
The concert opens with the spacious, open-air textures of Tumblebird Contrails by up-and-coming American composer Gabriella Smith.
